What happened 2015 to 2019

Yep, it's been 3 1/2 years since I posted.

In December of 2015 the June Lake house flooded with almost 10,000 gallons of water in the house over 1 week.  What a nightmare.  I project managed the reconstruction/renovation of the house over the next 6 to 7 months.  We ended up with a great house, and it is booked consistently which is GREAT but also a PENALTY as I can't get in anymore like I used to.  House is too nice.

2016 we moved Mom into a new place again and it is sooo much better!  No steps from her parking place to her door, she is doing well here.  Then the health issue happened and I was out of work (still paid thankfully) taking care of her for 2 months.  Totally a trying experience, luckily I knew someone who I trusted to take care of her over night so my sister and I got a break.

This was also a year of turmoil for me at work which I did work thru by focusing on my and my thoughts up at June Lake for a week.  Had to be rude to my Dad and tell him to "get out" as he thought it would be ok to stay not going what was going on with me.  I was so rude, he left items at June on his way out.  We did meet for lunch on my way up and his way down and talked it out. We're good.

2017 started with Dad being diagnosed with Lung Cancer and that experience went on for 6+ month.  Luckily he is ok for now.  We did not do our usual trip to June Lake, nor did I.

2018 was a good year, got Dad up to June Lake with O2 as a leash.  Everyone was healthy until I started with my eye issues.  Retinal hole, tear, detachment, detachment surgery, cataract and epi-retinal membrane peel surgery, and finally a post capsulation peel surgery.  I was stuck at home at altitude (no travel) for 6 months.  No June Lake, no flying, although I did have an adventure driving to Ft. Worth to watch Nick graduate with his Master's in Environmental Science.  That is a total adventure for another post.

2019 is going ok.  I've had the flu twice and a bad cold also twice.  Not sure why besides age.  I also sadly rolled my ankle so I am recovering from that.   Hope to see Nick over Memorial Day weekend.

Long post, but really short post for a long time.  More soon.   Kelly
