Hermosa Beach Photo edited

Felipe...the beach house is visible in your choice of photos. I've circled it in red. If you google map street view 1112 Manhattan ave, Hermosa Beach CA the blue/white 2 story house is the current abode for the happy couple.
Enjoy!

Dreams of happiness

Tomorrow my brother's finance Viviane Costa arrives in Los Angeles. She comes to America enduring the regulations of our Homeland Security Department Visa interviews and a mysterious envelope to present to customs in Miami.

As I write this she should have taken her first steps into the land called America - home of dreams and the underlying principle that you have the opportunity to better yourself and those around you.

Tomorrow Bill and Vivi land in Los Angeles and they will be greeted by family. We have a large family. Hopefully not too overwhelming, but a feeling of welcome and invitiation.

I look forward to the future and especially meeting your family! Welcome Vivi Costa soon to be Vivi Costa Moran.

to see her departure go to her brother Felipe's' blog here.

Interestingly enough, Bill left for Dubai on May 5, 2008...Vivi arrives in LA on May 2, 2010.

Space Shuttle Discovery Launch video link

The launch was awesome. My son and I were 6 miles away (2nd closest spot possible) and saw in person what no other human will ever see again, a night time launch of a space shuttle. The long video can be seen here.

There are only 3 more launches, if you get the chance definitely go see one.

90 days later....GO FOR LAUNCH!!!

For my first post for 2010, this is an exciting one for me!

I decided a while ago, that for my son's spring break that we'd go to Florida and watch one of the last Space Shuttle launches in history. The launch preparations are going smoothly and the date has held. So tomorrow for Easter Sunday we'll be getting on a plane and flying to Orlando Florida, staying in Cocoa Beach Florida. Luckily I get a few perks at my place of work and I got a car pass that will let me drive onto Kennedy Space Center where the Shuttle launches from.

Click here for information on STS-131, click here for information on the Shuttle Discovery - the work horse of the fleet.

I'll post photos and videos when we return!
