Since I've returned to Monrovia, I've attended the Friday Night Family Festival (http://monrovia.patch.com/events/family-festival-and-farmers-market or http://www.facebook.com/familyfestivalproductions) twice. It is a really nice walk down Myrtle Avenue, especially in this weather, and there is a lot to look at. The children's events are at the North end, the South has the local farmer's market stands - and in the middle are the retail booths. Plus some of the city retail stores stay open late.
Tonight I ventured into the Monrovia Pawn Shop, http://www.neighborhoodpawn.com/. Lots of guitars and stereo equipment. I was awestruck by the diamonds. Some folks let some pretty big one go. I just looked I did not buy - this time!
PS what a boring post - couldn't find any pictures on the web! I'll do better.

What went thru my mind during this morning drive to work
The morning sun is beautiful peeking thru the rain clouds like that.
Why doesn't that guy being chased by cops in the diamond lane pull over?
Yesterday would have been my 19th wedding anniversary.
Can I really afford to do this remodel?
My doppio longo is really good today.
Why doesn't that guy being chased by cops in the diamond lane just pull over?
At least it was a raise.
Who sings this song?
Traffic is non-existent today, I wonder why?
(8 miles later) - Why doesn't that guy just pull over!
